Senior Pastor: Dr. Roy R. Wise

Pastor Roy R. Wise was saved at age 15 and was called to the Gospel ministry at age 25. His ministry at Heritage began in September 2001.

He graduated with honors from Lancaster Bible College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Doctor of Divinity degree was bestowed upon him on May 7, 1988 by Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina. Besides his position as Pastor, he is Executive Administrator of Heritage Christian Academy, a ministry owned and operatedby Heritage Baptist Church.

Dr. Wise has served as the senior Pastor in two other churches. His first ministry was as pastor of an independent Baptist Church in Pennsylvania where he served for 16 years. Prior to coming to Heritage he was Pastor of an independent Baptist Church in North Carolina where, in addition to his pastoral ministry, he served as the Director and speaker of a daily radio ministry and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of a Christian school.

Pastor and Mrs. Wise have two sons who are graduates of Bob Jones University, married and faithfully serving the Lord. The oldest son is the Youth Pastor here at Heritage Baptist Church, and the youngest is an accountant in Warren, Michigan.

 

Youth Pastor and Music Director: Stephen Wise

Pastor Stephen Wise came to know Christ as his Savior at the age of five and was called to the ministry at the age of twelve.

Pastor Steve graduated from Bob Jones University in 1993. His major was pastoral studies with a minor in public speaking. In addition to his position as youth pastor, Pastor Steve serves as a teacher and coach at Heritage Christian Academy and music director for Heritage Baptist Church.

Pastor Steve and his wife Amy were married February 4, 1995. They have a daughter Elizabeth and a son Noah.
